I have finally scanned in all my designs so as to make up my website, but I thought I'd post a few here too. So here is my Mack the Knife! And below a pair of his trusty whores and the vulgar Mr Peachum. I really did enjoy creating this project which was very much character-led. Hope you enjoy them...
Self-described as an 'artist with a romantic bent', Cynthia Warren creates the most inspiring and transporting flights of typography fancy. No really, I was looking for calligraphy courses, before stumbling across her accomplished work, and I left her website thinking I'd found a new career for myself. Only, I have a tendency to smudge, and my drawings with my trusty quill have been described as 'charmingly scratchy', so I think i'll leave this to the grown-ups. Still, I love the idea of developing a unique and personal font all for me. Imagine how many more letters I would write? Actually, I want it so that I can design a C.V. that no one else can claim. Oh yes. Watch this space.
